U.S. - International Collaborations in Question? An editorial by former SFB President Tom Webster has just published an editorial in the International Journal of Nanomedicine discussing the challenges international students and faculty are now facing the U.S. due to recent changes in U.S. government visa policy. He highlights how U.S. Universities are seeing a drastic decline in international students, visiting scholars, and consequent innovative ideas to prevent, diagnose, and treat diseases. He includes a call to action to everyone at U.S. Universities and industry to speak up and ensure academic freedom to collaborate with whom we want and when we want.
