The workshop will focus on fiber-based scaffold characterization including batch to batch variability, measurement validation, measurement comparability, product characterization and release criteria. Potential outcomes may include a workshop report, the formation of a working group to write an ASTM Standard Guide for Characterizing Fiber-Based Scaffolds, and/or the formation of working groups to address specific measurements that require improvement.
