AIChE Area 8b (Biomaterials) Graduate Student Award Session 2017 Application Solicitation Summary The 2017 AIChE Materials Engineering and Sciences Division Area 8b (Biomaterials) is pleased to announce the fourth annual Graduate Student Award Session to be held at the 2017 AIChE Annual Meeting in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This session will honor graduate students whose research achievements, in the broad area of biomaterials, demonstrate a high level of excellence Interested students should submit an abstract to a primary area 8b session of interest, and also submit the abstract to this award session. Finalists will be selected to present their work a second time in the award session. Supported by generous sponsorship from ACS Biomaterials Science and Engineering, graduate student award winners will receive monetary awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, respectively, as determined by a panel of judges.
